9 <br /> Orange County,NC July 31,2024 <br /> Emergency Radio Response Coverage <br /> 2.3 General Responsibilities <br /> Motorola has made provided several general responsibilities in preparing this proposal, which are noted <br /> below. <br /> • This proposal is based upon the scope of work above and the floor plans provided by Orange <br /> County. If any changes in scope are needed, the costs will be provided to Orange County via a <br /> change order. <br /> • All existing sites or equipment locations will have sufficient space available for the system <br /> described as required. <br /> • All existing sites or equipment locations will have adequate electrical power in the proper phase <br /> and voltage, and site grounding to support the requirements of the system described. <br /> • Any site/location upgrades or modifications are the responsibility of Orange County. <br /> • Approved FCC licensing will be provided by Orange County. <br /> • Approved local, State, or Federal permits as may be required for the installation and operation <br /> of the proposed equipment are the responsibility of Orange County. <br /> • Any required system interconnections not specifically outlined here will be provided by Orange <br /> County. These may include dedicated phone circuits, microwave links, or other types of <br /> connectivity. <br /> • All work is to be conducted 8AM to 5PM. <br /> • Sites do not have any hazardous materials present. Removal of hazardous materials is the <br /> responsibility of Orange County <br /> • Motorola is not responsible for interference caused or received by the Motorola-provided <br /> equipment except for interference that is directly caused by the Motorola-provided <br /> transmitter(s) to the Motorola-provided receiver(s). Should Orange County's system <br /> experience interference, Motorola can be contracted to investigate the source and <br /> recommend solutions to mitigate the issue. <br /> • Orange County will provide building access to Motorola Solutions personnel to all facilities <br /> where the system is to be installed during the project. Temporary identification cards should <br /> be issued to Motorola Solutions personnel if required for access to the Orange County <br /> facilities. Orange County will ensure that Motorola Solutions has unrestricted site access for <br /> timely access and to prevent delays. Each site will require access multiple times during the <br /> course of the project. Access must be provided in accordance with the project schedule. <br /> Access must be available after business hours where required by Motorola, or as necessary <br /> to meet the project schedule. <br /> • Relocation of power or utilities is not included in this proposal and would be the responsibility <br /> of Orange County if needed. <br /> • Orange County will provide any required parking permits to Motorola personnel for restricted <br /> access entry or parking. If no permits are required, Orange County will ensure onsite parking <br /> is available during the installation. <br /> • There is no prevailing wage requirements, MBE, or performance bond, or similar requirements <br /> for this project. <br /> • No safety training is required beyond the standard OSHA- complaint training. <br /> • Orange County must provide any roof penetration for donor antennas.
