64 <br /> Detention Center Staffing Analysis Orange County, INC <br /> 9. Staff conducts strip search (optional). <br /> 10. Staff completes property inventory in front of the arrestee (if compliant). <br /> 11 . Arrestee signs the property inventory sheet. <br /> 12. Arrestee is screened by medical staff for acceptance. If medical staff approve, <br /> custody of arrestee is transitioned to the Detention Center. Arresting Officer is free <br /> to leave. <br /> 13. Arrestee is escorted to clothing change out area. <br /> 14. Arrestee changes clothing and hands personal clothing to Staff. <br /> 15. Staff will go through clothing to ensure no additional items are included and add <br /> to property bag. <br /> 16. Arrestee is patted down and wanded. <br /> 17. Arrestee is escorted to the booking area. Goes to booking counter, cell, or bench. <br /> 18. Staff begin booking arrestee into Jail Management System (JMS). <br /> 19. Staff obtain relevant demographic information from arrestee. <br /> 20. Staff fingerprint the arrestee. <br /> 21 . Staff photograph the arrestee (may alternate order with fingerprinting). <br /> 22. Staff attach fingerprint and photograph to the arrestee record. <br /> 23. Staff verify the identity of the arrestee (if not known or previously determined). <br /> 24. Prisoner ID# is assigned. <br /> 25. Preliminary classification screening is conducted by Staff. <br /> 26. Classification status is determined by Staff. <br /> 27. PREA overview is provided to the arrestee and PREA compliance form is signed by <br /> the arrestee. <br /> 28. Housing assignment is determined by staff and added to JMS and housing <br /> whiteboard. <br /> Matrix Consulting Group <br />
