ORANGE COUNTY <br /> NORTH CAROLINA <br /> 112 <br /> 1 <br /> I <br /> t <br /> r <br /> Conclusion This study allowed Orange County to take 500+proposed <br /> projects from 9 different agencies and 58 different plans <br /> and consolidate them into one County-wide document.The <br /> result is a comprehensive list of 223 projects recommended <br /> for the unincorporated areas of Orange County. <br /> This study took this list a step further by developing a <br /> prioritization method based on County and public desires. <br /> The prioritization list will assist the County in determining <br /> how to allocate future funding by determining which <br /> projects would have the most beneficial impact. <br /> It is recommended that the project list be routinely <br /> updated as constituent agencies adopt new plans and <br /> project recommendations.The TMP should be updated <br /> every 5 years to include new projects,remove completed <br /> projects,and re-prioritize projects based on future public <br /> and County desires.This will allow Orange County to <br /> maintain and up-to-date and comprehensive list of projects <br /> for future needs. <br /> Orange County Transportation Multimodal Plan PAGE 73 <br />
