Short Range Transit Plan <br /> 3 The Board held a public hearing and considered approving the Orange County Short Range <br /> 4 Transit Plan (SRTP). <br /> 5 <br /> 6 BACKGROUND: Orange County completed the SRTP following a yearlong planning process <br /> 7 that included two (2) rounds of public engagement, multiple pop-up events such as local Farmer's <br /> 8 Markets, and other public events. The SRTP effort started in November 2023 with the first round <br /> 9 of public engagement completed in March 2024 and the second round completed early <br /> 10 September 2024.
