66 <br /> Detention Center Staffing Analysis Orange County, NC <br /> 11. Staff will retrieve the detainee's property bag. <br /> 12. Detainee will go into the changing room and change into their personal clothes. <br /> 13. Detainee will return institutional clothing to Staff. <br /> 14. Staff will escort the detainee to the release counter (staff workstation). <br /> 15. Supervisor and Staff will verify the identity of the detainee and confirm they are to <br /> be released. <br /> 16. Supervisor and staff will verify with the detainee that all personal property is being <br /> returned. <br /> 17. Detainee will sign the property inventory sheet. <br /> 18. Staff will review medical information and determine if they are on any prescription <br /> medication. If the detainee is on any prescription medication, the officer will <br /> request a three to seven doses from medical staff. <br /> 19. Staff will escort the detainee to the exit. <br /> 20. Upon opening the door to exit the facility. Staff will hand all property and <br /> prescriptions (if necessary) to the detainee as they exit the building. <br /> 21. Staff will update the detainee record in JMS that they were released and at what <br /> time. <br /> These are the recommended steps to release an individual from the custody of the <br /> Detention Center. <br /> Matrix Consulting Group 61 <br />
