ORANGE COUNTY <br /> NORTH CAROLINA <br /> 42 <br /> ;r v <br /> 1 <br /> t � � <br /> Project Orange County comprises of multiple transportation <br /> planning agencies,including two Metropolitan Planning <br /> Background Organizations(MPOs)-Durham Chapel Hill Carrboro <br /> (DCHC)MPO and Burlington Graham(BG)MPO,Central <br /> Pines Regional Council(CPRC)four incorporated <br /> communities,and North Carolina Department of <br /> Transportation(NCDOT).The boundaries of these <br /> agencies are shown in Figure 1.1. These agencies have <br /> independently conducted several transportation planning <br /> studies and plans.The Orange County Transportation <br /> Multimodal Plan(OC-TMP)is an effort to consolidate all the <br /> projects recommended by these plans and prioritize them <br /> based on relevant metrics determined through public and <br /> stakeholder engagement process. <br /> Orange County Transportation Multimodal Plan PAGE 3 <br />
