Shelter Operations Manager <br />e Duties Include: <br />o Cleaning and disinfecting kennels/cages in strict accordance with standard <br />operating procedures <br />o Identifying and tagging all animals <br />o Feeding and watering animals in accordance with shelter procedures <br />o Assisting with health care of animals and reporting any health changes to a Health <br />Care Technician or Shelter Operations Manager <br />o Checking animals regularly for signs of illness, stress, or lethargy <br />o Washing and disinfecting dishes and equipment daily along with general cleaning <br />and maintenance tasks as needed <br />o Monitoring lost and found reports <br />o Participating in euthanasia program as assigned <br />o Performing initial health checks on incoming animals with concurrence by Health <br />Care Technician <br />o Administering medication when directed by Health Technician or Shelter <br />Operations Manager <br />o Worlc to control parasites <br />o Conducting daily animal count in assigned area <br />o Reporting repairs needed in assigned area to a Manager <br />o Performing adoption counseling <br />o Assisting with Emergency Animal Rescue Service program one night weekly <br />o Other duties as assigned <br />o Skills and I+;xperience Requirements: <br />o High School Graduate <br />o Some knowledge of animal care required <br />
