As requested and with keen diligence to protecting newly established landscape infrastructure, we could begin maintenance of plantings and turf rehabilitation, tomorrow. The scope of this would involve the following: 1. Watering all turf areas and plants 4 times a week (documented with geo-fencing) with 2-day post watering after .25” of rain within previous 24-hrs, through September 1, 2024. 2. Immediate re-seed with erosion control straw application to area immediate East side of Whitted Building B (adjacent to parking lot) and immediate seeds and erosion protect to street side of Recreation Building. Performed within 24-hours of approval. 3. Final-grade sweep of all exposed areas to eliminate rocks, post-construction debris and material negatively impacting newly established turf. 4. Erosion protect bare spots and fertilize as needed for soil to seed establishment. For this project, with labor (inclusive of weekend time), seed, straw, fertilizer, materials and logistics to facilitate proper watering and monitoring $23,500. The goal with this phase would be to protect erosion, facilitate immediate growth of established plantings, maintain proper watering and hydration, and promote growth during critical heat and drouth conditions. We anticipate heavy labor to facilitate proper watering and monitoring. There are other items I noted and will send those in a separate email, one of which may require immediate attention with rip-rap as it appears the stormwater outflow tract is clogged or needs assessment to facilitate proper drainage, to the right of the first steps near chiller. Please feel free to call me 919-201-5347 for questions. I am poised to begin first thing in AM with proper leverage.
