She said there is information in the abstract
about types of residential units that would be in each pod. She said that total residential units are
between 465 and 670. She said she wants to call it a community-supported master plan because
the community has worked hard on these recommendations and been great partners. She said
that this is a continuing process and there is a potential master plan that the owners will adopt.
She said that there will be more specific information brought forward in the future. She said that
there is a required zoning approval through the Town of Chapel Hill, and this will require zoning
approval. She said it will require that the owners submit a development agreement. She said the
zoning approval will be very specific about locations for greenways and trail locations. She said
that the master plan has the outline, but the zoning approval will have the specifics. She said
there may be a traffic impact analysis necessary at some point. She said that DFI will help staff
continue the community engagement conducted thus far to keep community updated.
professional staff of property experts are meeting with technical experts like for fire standards and
parks and rec standards.
