3 <br /> Wednesday, September 25, 2024, 6:00pm —7:30pm <br /> Gravelly Hill Middle School Auditorium, 4801 W Ten Rd., Efland <br /> Thursday, October 3, 2024, 6:00pm — 7:30pm, <br /> American Legion Post 6, 3700 NC Highway 54, Chapel Hill <br /> County Planning staff has been tabling at area community events such as Efland-Cheeks <br /> Community Center Back to School, Festival Latino Americano in Carrboro, and others. This work <br /> will continue until early November and is to promote interest and collect input via surveys. <br /> Planning staff is also working directly with community organizations and leaders to host <br /> community meetings for reaching populations that have traditionally been underrepresented in <br /> Orange County land use planning. The Clarion team will be assisting Planning staff with the <br /> facilitation of meetings and Planning staff is partnering with meeting hosts to distribute invitations <br /> and encourage participation among respective communities. This is a different approach than <br /> that which was used during Community Engagement Window#1, which featured fewer meetings <br /> and less Planning staff involvement. <br /> Additional information is provided in Attachment A.
