Vehicle Equipment Purchase for Solid Waste Management <br /> The Board approved and authorized the purchase of two (2) 2025 Western Star Model 47XSB <br /> Swap Loaders, one (1) Front-End Loader, and one (1) Road Tractor for the purpose of collecting <br /> residential and commercial recyclable materials and municipal and commercial solid waste. <br /> 9. County Manager's Report <br /> Travis Myren recognized a few staffing changes that occurred over the summer including <br /> Kristin Prelipp as Interim Community Relations Director, Caitlin Fenhagen as Interim Deputy <br /> County Manager, and Paul Slack as Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer. He announced there will <br /> be a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new bridge housing project on Monday. Finally, he shared that <br /> Nancy Coston, DSS Director, has announced her retirement and her last day will be October 31 sc <br /> 10. County Attorney's Report <br /> John Roberts said the impact fee case has been calendared for next month at the <br /> Supreme Court, but it will be decided without oral argument. He said the state legislature <br /> adjourned with multiple short sessions scheduled and there are four vetoes outstanding and two <br /> would directly impact Orange County. He said he will keep the Board informed on both the Impact <br /> Fee case and the vetoes. <br /> 11. Appointments <br /> None. <br /> 12.
