Appendix B: Priority Strategies from Each Summit Work Group <br />Each work group's priority strategies are shown below, along with their final votes (if they <br />voted), with the "no" votes shown in parentheses. Each strategy indicates the initial strategies it <br />incorporates from Table 1 or whether it is new. <br />RED <br />Initial Strategy 2: Welcome new and assist existing businesses that meet the county's <br />development criteria -with outreach, recognition, andlor expedited service. 5 <br />Initial Strategy 9: Create more entertainment, arts and theater destinations in the towns, <br />including galleries, studios, and pedestrian districts. 2 (2) <br />Initial Strategy 15: Increase density around transportation nodes (including infill <br />development), improve transit among high-density centers, and protect open space in rural areas. <br />12 (1) <br />New: Protect and enhance the fundamentals of a good place to live and work, including <br />envir.. quality, high-speed info networks, affordable housing for support service workers, <br />recreation & entertainment, transp.
