Orange County Board of Adjustment—Appointment Discussion <br /> 2 The Board discussed an appointment to the Orange County Board of Adjustment. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 BACKGROUND: The Board of Adjustment hears, reviews, decides appeals, and reviews any <br /> 5 order requirement, decision, or determination made by the Zoning Officer in the performance of <br /> 6 official duties. It also hears and decides applications for the approval of those Special Uses <br /> 7 requiring Board of Adjustment approval, in accordance with the rules and conditions laid down in <br /> 8 the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), hears and decides appeals for variances from the <br /> 9 dimensional regulations of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), and decides or determines <br /> 10 other matters as may be required by the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) or State law. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 The Board of County Commissioners appoints all seven (7) members. Orange Unified Transportation Board —Appointments Discussion <br /> 24 The Board discussed an appointment to the Orange Unified Transportation Board. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 BACKGROUND: The Orange Unified Transportation Board (OUT Board) advises the Orange <br /> 27 County Board of County Commissioners on the overall planning and programming of <br /> 28 transportation improvements in the County. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 The Board of County Commissioners appoints all twelve (12) members, with representation from <br /> 31 each of the County's townships to the extent possible. There is also one (1) non-voting youth <br /> 32 member. The OUT Board does not make recommendations. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 The following positions are presented for Board consideration: <br /> 35 <br />
