Animal Services Hearing Panel Pool —Appointments Discussion <br /> 28 discuss appointments to the Animal Services Hearing Panel Pool. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 BACKGROUND: The charge of the Animal Services Hearing Panel Pool is to hear appeals <br /> 31 concerning violations of the Orange County Code of Ordinances, Chapter 4 ("Animal Control <br /> 32 Ordinance"), as provided in the Orange County Code of Ordinances, Section 4-53 Appeals and <br /> 33 also potentially dangerous dog appeals as prescribed by NC General Statute §67-4.1(c). It is the <br /> 34 responsibility of pool members to conduct fair and impartial hearings for these appeals and they <br /> 35 will receive training in both law and proper procedure prior to participating in a hearing. <br /> 36 <br />
