The APB asks the Board of Commissioners to consider the <br /> following recommendation: <br /> Appoint Sandra Weitzel to fill the remaining vacant at-large position, number 15. Ms. <br /> Weitzel possesses degrees in agronomy and soil science, with a work career that <br /> includes 25 years with the Soil and Water Conservation Division of the NC Dept of <br /> Agriculture and Consumer Services. She has a strong interest in farmland preservation <br /> and enhancing the economic viability of agriculture in the county. <br /> Thank you on behalf of the APB.
