Prior to Village Project, my work in urban design included <br />production of "alternatives to Sprawl: Welcome the City" an exhibit of transit oriented <br />designs for three sites in the Triangle region 1998 and "design Scenerios far Downtown <br />Carrboro 1999, co-produced with Glen Bluden, Artitect. I am chairman of the board of <br />Directors of the Village Project, Inc, anon-profit educational organization I founded to <br />work for walkable, transit-oriented development in our region. <br />Volunteer Experience: <br />Chairman of the Carrboro planning board, served on Town committee to resolve zoning <br />issues where commercial and residential areas abut; served on the steering committee of <br />Carrboro's Downtown Visioning Charrette (design workshop) <br />Education: <br />Majored in Architecture and minored in Art History at the University of Pennsylavania in <br />the late 1960's. <br />Other Comments: <br />STAFF COMMENTS: Reapplied 7/28/2005 far Transfer of Development Rights <br />Taskforce.
