Discussion/comments: does it muddy the water when talking about collaboration to also talk <br />about merger?; others have different reasons for students moving back and forth between the <br />systems -efficient use of capacity, not programming; we have talked about students crossing <br />lines both ways -this is a win-win; could take away the merger word is the Boards desire. <br />Facilitator notes: <br />Muddies waters by including merger? <br />Focus is more efficient use of capacity <br />Take out "merger" <br />Following discussion on all 18 items, a poll was taken of Board members on consensus of each item <br />as a possible area for collaboration. Facilitator Sachs announced that there are 13 Board members <br />present. Superintendents will not be voting. A total of 10 votes on any one item constitutes the <br />75% rule agreed upon for consensus. <br />The vote was taken as follows with some items being reworded as noted (the * indicates the item <br />was agreed upon based on the 75% rule): <br />L Transportation operations. <br />Vote: 13 <br />2.
