TYANSIT <br /> Existing Conditions ORA RANGE TROUNPLAN <br /> GoTriangle serves Durham, Orange, and Wake Counties with six OCTS serves the Mebane Cone Health Park-and-Ride and the <br /> all-week and all-day routes, four peak-only routes on weekdays, Durham Tech OCC Park-and-Ride on the Orange-Alamance <br /> and 7 regional express routes that run during peak hours all week. Chapel Hill Transit operates <br /> 20 fixed routes, 9 of which operate all week and the other 11 <br /> operate on weekdays only. These routes facilitate local travel , ` <br /> p Y Y - <br /> within Chapel Hill and Carrboro. <br /> Transit Amenities and Facilities <br /> 3 >:z <br /> OCTS's bus stop amenities vary based on the size of the bus stop <br /> and nearby amenities. Working with GoTriangle, the two transit <br /> providers have made stop improvements in Orange County and <br /> the greater region. GoTriangle actively updates their Stop <br /> Improvement Map on their website with completed and in- <br /> progress bus stop amenity improvements. <br /> Shelters vary in size depending on the location, with larger <br /> shelters typically being placed at the end-of-line and park-and- <br /> rides and smaller shelters being placed at high volume ridership <br /> locations mid-route where space allows.
