Attendance - hr 200.3-2004 the first semester average daily attendance was .3.36 <br />students absent per day or 12%. Second semester the average daily attendance is 4.12 <br />students absent per day or 1:3%. <br />In 2002-2003, the first semester average daily attendance was 3.4 students absent <br />per day or 15%. Second semester the average daily attendance was 4.4 students absent <br />per day or 16%. <br />Discipline - A code of student conduct is included in the Phoenix handbook <br />which must be read then documentation returned to the school indicating that the student <br />and parent has read the handbook. Violations of the student code are reported to the <br />lead teacher via a referral form (A summary of the types of referrals are listed below). <br />The handbook lists violations as Level I, II or III. Level I violations will result in <br />detention, work detail and/or a parent conference. Level II violations will result in short <br />teen suspension for up to ten days and a parent conference. Level III violations will <br />result in long-term suspension and/or expulsion with a referral to the criminal justice <br />system or,juvenile system.
