MINUTES <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF SOCIAL SERVICES <br /> December 19,2022 <br /> 3. Annual Report and Work Plan <br /> Lindsey Shewmaker talked about the development of the Annual Report/Work Plan that is due to <br /> the Board of County Commissioners in January. Staff will collect feedback and bring a draft to the <br /> next Board Meeting for approval. <br /> 4. Holiday Program Report <br /> Sharron Hinton gave an update on the outcomes of the holiday program. As of Friday there was a <br /> total of 1,321 registered families, and 1,036 families have come thus far. There were 337 <br /> sponsorships done this year. <br /> Board members suggested that staff find ways to share the positive impact of this on the <br /> community. <br /> 5. Director's Report <br /> The Outside Agency process will be slightly different this year. The agency will meet with the <br /> advisory boards and the County Manager at the same time. <br /> The January meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 17th after the holiday for Martin Luther King, <br /> Jr. <br /> Pat Garavaglia made a motion to move the next meeting to Monday, January 23rd. Oscar Fleming <br /> seconded the motion. The motion was carried without dissent. <br /> VII. Announcements <br /> Oscar Fleming moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:10 pm.
