MINUTES <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF SOCIAL SERVICES <br />February 19, 2024 <br />2 <br /> <br />Sharron Hinton asked for Board volunteers to review the Outside Agency applications. DSS has <br />been asked to review 9 applicants. March 8th is the due date for submission to the County Manager. <br />Meetings with the Manager and agencies will be held either March 15th or March 22nd. Chris Barnes <br />and Ann Wilkerson volunteered to review the applications. <br /> <br />3. Director’s Report <br /> <br />There was no Director’s Report. <br /> <br />4. Executive Session <br /> <br />Oscar Fleming moved to Executive Session pursuant to General Statute 143-318.11(a)(1) <br />referencing General Statutes 7B-2901 and 108A-80. Ann Wilkerson seconded the motion. The <br />motion was carried without dissent. <br /> <br /> <br />VII. Announcements <br /> <br />Chris Barnes moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:12 pm.
