MINUTES <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF SOCIAL SERVICES <br />August 16, 2021 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />Nancy Coston has been asked to serve on a number of State committees looking at different <br />aspects of DSS programs. <br /> <br />Lindsey Shewmaker reminded the Board that Social Services staff run the County’s disaster <br />shelters and has continued to house COVID positive patients currently experiencing homelessness. <br /> <br />VII. Announcements <br /> <br />Tamara Dempsey-Tanner moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:59 pm. Jane Garrett seconded the motion.
