See below what 1 have communicated to Nancy Glover in the Clerk's Office already on <br />vacancies and appointments,. I know Nancy is preparing to put these nominations/recommendations <br />before the BOOO soon and may want to include the AHAP nominee at the same time. Ms. Cepeda has been <br />involved in many outreach missio' ns and start up enterprises and would bring business administration and <br />community building expertise to the HSAC, <br />a Ernest Roberts, Jr to fill the t Lar a vacant previously held by Louise Echols.. Mr. Roberts has a <br />background in mechanical engineering an as graduated from the United Way leadership development <br />program. He would bring reseach and advocacy skills to the HSAC.. <br />+ Joe Robbins to fill the unfilled At Lar e vacs that expires on March 31, 2005. Mr. Robbins has <br />extensive experience in health an uman services administration and volunteer support to the <br />Department of Social Services. He would bring technical knowedge as a trainer and specialist to the work <br />of the HSAC, <br />Phyllis Horton serving in an At Large position has met the attendance requirements, is eligible for <br />reappointment, and the HSAC approved her consideration for reappointment by the BOCC. <br />No other recommendations were made by the HSAC at this time. <br />We have no confirmation from Patty Murray Hill as to whether or not she wishes to be re-appointed to <br />her At Large position. <br />Lois Kinzie representing the Partnership for Young Children has indicated that she does not wish to be <br />reappointed By copy of this correspondence, i am asking that the Partnership consider referral of a <br />new representative to the BOCC for consideration, Lois' term expires March 31, but she is willing <br />to serve through the next HSAC meeting to be held on April 12. <br />Betty Matthews representing Cooperative Extension term expires also on March 31 and I have no <br />indication of her interest in serving an additional term but I believe she is eligible and would be favorably <br />considered by the HSAC, By copy of this correspondence, I am referring the issue to Cooperative <br />Extension for their information and recommendation. <br />.......Please let me know if you need additonal information.
