Vice-Chair Greene seconded <br /> 5 the motion. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Chair Bedford explained the process for appointing individuals to the committee. She said <br /> 10 that each commissioner would get three votes. <br /> 11 Vice-Chair Greene said that Melody Kramer is no longer interested in serving on the <br /> 12 committee. <br /> 13 Commissioner Richards nominated Anissa McLendon. Chair Bedford seconded the <br /> 14 nomination. <br /> 15 Vice-Chair Greene nominated Sara Ruotsala. <br /> 16 Commissioner Fowler nominated Benjamin Alschuler. <br /> 17 Chair Bedford nominated Kulwadee Yung. <br /> 18 Commissioner Hamilton nominated Andrea Tanner. <br /> 19 Commissioner Richards explained why she thought Anissa McClendon's experience <br /> 20 would be helpful on the committee. <br /> 21 Vice-Chair Greene explained her support for Sara Ruotsala. <br /> 22 Commissioner Fowler explained some of the strengths of Sara Ruotsala's application. <br /> 23 Commissioner Fowler explained how Benjamin Alschuler's experience would be helpful <br /> 24 on the committee. <br /> 25 Chair Bedford explained how Kulwadee Yung's experience would be helpful on the <br /> 26 committee. <br /> 27 Commissioner Hamilton explained how Andrea Tanner's experience would be beneficial <br /> 28 to the committee. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 The Board indicated their support for each nominee with a show of hands. The results <br /> 31 were as follows: <br /> 32 o Anissa McLendon received unanimous support. (7 votes) <br /> 33 o Sara Ruotsala received one vote from Vice-Chair Greene. (1 vote) <br /> 34 o Benjamin Alschuler received votes from Chair Bedford, Commissioner Fowler, <br /> 35 Commissioner Hamilton, Commissioner Portie-Ascott, Commissioner McKee, and <br /> 36 Commissioner Richards.
