Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> 16 The Board adopted a resolution to release motor vehicle property tax values for five (5)taxpayers <br /> 17 with a total of five (5) bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> 18 c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> 19 The Board adopted a resolution to release property tax values for six (6) taxpayers with a total of <br /> 20 six (6) bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> 21 d. National Gun Violence Awareness Day Proclamation <br /> 22 The Board approved a proclamation recognizing June 7, 2024 as National Gun Violence <br /> 23 Awareness Day. <br /> 24 e. Approval of Senior Lunch Caterer Contract <br /> 25 The Board approved a food service caterer contract to provide noon meals for the Home and <br /> 26 Community Care Block Grant-funded Senior Lunch Program at the Seymour and Passmore <br /> 27 Centers for the period July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026. <br /> 28 f. Approval to Purchase Real Property—Kittrell-McAdoo Tract, and Grant of Conservation <br /> 29 Easement to North Carolina Land and Water Fund <br /> 30 The Board approved 1) the County's purchase of the Kittrell-McAdoo Tract, and 2)the granting of <br /> 31 a conservation easement to the North Carolina Land and Water Fund as a condition of that <br /> 32 agency's grant toward the purchase. <br /> 33 g. Opioid Spending Authorization Resolutions <br /> 34 The Board approved the revised Opioid Settlement Spending Authorization Resolutions that <br /> 35 reflect corrections required by the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners (NCACC) <br /> 36 Opioid Settlement Technical Assistance Team (OSTAT). <br /> 37 h. Major Subdivision Preliminary Plat Application —Williams Glen <br /> 38 The Board reviewed and approved the Williams Glen Major Subdivision Preliminary Plat <br /> 39 application for the property with Parcel Identification Number 9883-09-8108, immediately east of <br /> 40 Lawrence Road, in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.15 and Article 7 of the Unified <br /> 41 Development Ordinance (UDO). <br /> 42 i. Fiscal Year 2023-24 Budget Amendment #10 <br /> 43 The Board approved budget, grant, and capital project ordinance amendments for Fiscal Year <br /> 44 2023-24. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 9.
