Staff also has compiled and analyzed data on <br />building energy consumption and developed possible energy conservation performance <br />measures for the Board's review, <br />Draft Policy <br />The attached draft establishes County policy to conserve energy and reduce energy <br />consumption, It specifically covers buildings and use of electricity, natural gas, propane and <br />fuel oih <br />Water conservation and vehicle fuel conservation will be addressed in separate policies, as <br />outlined in next steps below, <br />Policy highlights include: <br />• Setting short term and long term goals. <br />Designating responsibilities for energy conservation as to the Energy Conservation Task <br />Group, Energy Conservation Manager, Building Energy Representatives, Public Works <br />
