See the <br /> 15 following attachments related to those decisions: <br /> 16 <br /> 17 • Attachment 1 — the Resolution of Intent to Adopt the FY 2024-25 Orange County <br /> 18 Budget outlines the actions approved by the Board of County Commissioners on June <br /> 19 6, 2024 <br /> 20 • Attachment 2 — the FY 2024-25 Budget Ordinance is the legislation implementing the <br /> 21 FY 2024-25 Annual Operating Budget for Orange County, including Grants Project <br /> 22 Ordinances <br /> 23 • Attachment 3 —the FY 2024-25 County Fee Schedule <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Travis Myren, Deputy County Manager, reviewed the background information for the <br /> 26 agenda item. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 A motion was made by Commissioner Fowler, seconded by Commissioner Hamilton, to <br /> 29 adopt the FY 2024-25 Budget Ordinances and the FY 2024-25 County Fee Schedule, consistent <br /> 30 with the parameters outlined in the Board's Resolution of Intent to Adopt the FY 2024-25 Orange <br /> 31 County Budget. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 34 <br /> 35 b. Accept the Ten-Year Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and Approve the FY 2024-25 <br /> 36 Orange County Overall CIP Protects <br /> 37 The Board accepted the FY 2024-34 Orange County Five-Year Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and <br /> 38 approving the FY 2024-25 Orange County Overall CIP Projects. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 BACKGROUND: For over 20 years, the County has produced a Capital Investment Plan (CIP) <br /> 41 that establishes a budget planning guide related to capital needs for the County as well as <br /> 42 Schools. The current CIP consists of a 10-year plan that is evaluated annually to include year-to- <br /> 43 year changes in priorities, needs, and available resources. Approval of the CIP commits the <br /> 44 County to the first year funding only of the capital projects; all other years are used as a planning <br /> 45 tool and serves as a financial plan. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 Capital Investment Plan — Overview <br /> 48 The FY 2024-34 CIP includes County Projects, School Projects, and Proprietary Projects.
