CPL was selected based on the strength of its response to the <br /> RFQ, and submitted a final proposal of$1,719,650. <br /> Within the proposal, $143,890 is devoted to schematic design services to evaluate up to two (2) <br /> different sites for the Crisis Diversion Facility. No funds beyond those will need to be expended <br /> until a final site has been purchased. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: CPL's proposal for the design and related services for the construction of <br /> the Crisis Diversion Facility, at the cost of$1,719,650, was funded in the FY 2023-33 CIP. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: <br /> • GOAL 2: HEALTHY COMMUNITY <br /> OBJECTIVE 1. Improve harm reduction, prevention, and support services for adults and <br /> children experiencing behavioral health issues, substance use disorder, and intellectual or <br /> developmental disability. <br /> OBJECTIVE 4. Reduce impacts and barriers for justice-involved children and adults <br /> through deflection, diversion, therapeutic interventions, and re-entry support, including <br /> housing. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the contract with <br /> CPL and authorize the Chair to sign it after final review by the County Attorney. <br />
