1 <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> ACTION AGENDA ITEM ABSTRACT <br /> Meeting Date: September 10, 2024 <br /> Action Agenda <br /> Item No. 3 <br /> SUBJECT: Review of BOCC Proclamations <br /> DEPARTMENT: Board of County <br /> Commissioners <br /> ATTACHMENT(S): INFORMATION CONTACT: <br /> List of Proclamations — 2016-2024 Chair Jamezetta Bedford, 919-245-2130 <br /> PURPOSE: To review the proclamations that have been approved by the Board of County <br /> Commissioners since 2016. <br /> BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners requested that staff create a 12-month <br /> calendar of proclamations for possible inclusion on future Business meeting agendas. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with this item. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: There are no Orange County Strategic Plan Goals <br /> applicable to this item. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board review the proclamations <br /> list and provide feedback to staff. <br />
