I was born in Bangladesh but raised in Florida. I moved to NC <br /> (i.e., the RTP area) in 2019. My background exemplifies how I will bring a different mindset into <br /> the board. <br /> Experience: During my undergraduate career at the University of Florida (UF), I was on the <br /> planing board for Bangladeshi Student Association (BSA). During my tenure, I realized I enjoyed <br /> planning events. Therefore, I want to challenge myself by getting involved in the Orange County <br /> Planning Board . <br /> Education: I have formal education in Computer Engineering (BSc) and Computer Networking <br /> (MSCN). In simple English, I am an engineer at heart. One of the attributes of a high performing <br /> engineer is planning, planning, and planning. A well devised plan makes a difference between a <br /> successful outcome versus non successful outcome. <br /> Please explain your reasons for wanting to serve on this board <br /> My reasoning is simple: I want to give back to the community by volunteering my time. However, <br /> I specifically selected this board as my number one choice because I will enjoy what I am doing. <br /> As they say, you are at your best when you are enjoying your work. <br /> How would your particpation on this board contribute to the diversity of viewpoints? <br />
