As part of this project, new computer server hardware <br /> is required to meet the specifications of the new system. <br /> Emergency Services staff with support from Information Technologies` staff selected CDW/G to <br /> provide Nutanix server hardware and accessories required for the new CAD system using the <br /> competitively bid Omnia Partners contract # 2018011-01. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: The total cost of the required hardware is $378,410.80. The Board of <br /> Commissioners approved $2,800,000 in the FY 2024-25 Capital Investment Plan (CIP) for public <br /> safety software enhancements to include this project. The combination of CIP and approved <br /> Emergency Telephone System Funds covers the total cost of all portions of the CAD replacement <br /> project outlined for this item and the two other CAD-related items on this September 5, 2024 <br /> Business meeting agenda. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: <br /> • GOAL 2: Healthy Community <br /> OBJECTIVE 5.
