Proposed Access and Transportation Network Improvements <br /> The project proposes residential access via a new 50-foot public right of way connecting Miller Road and is <br /> subject to NCDOT design and construction standards. No roadway improvements are required by NCDOT <br /> but the project will require a Driveway Permit. The new road shall not be interconnected to any adjacent <br /> properties and is proposed to terminate in a cul-de-sac conforming with the NC State Fire Code. Per UDO <br /> Section 6.17.2(2), a traffic impact analysis is not required. <br /> Summary of Transportation Information <br /> Existing Roadway Characteristics <br /> Affected Roadway Miller Road <br /> Type of Roadway Local —2 lane undivided <br /> Current Roadway Capacity 10,000 AADT <br /> Latest Traffic Volume 1,600 AADT <br /> Traffic Generation <br /> Number of Trips Expected to be Generated by 150 <br /> Proposed Project <br /> Proposed Utilities <br /> Water and wastewater services will be provided via individual private wells and septic systems on each lot. <br /> Wells and septic s stems shall meet Orange County Environmental Health standards. <br /> Erosion Control/Stormwater Regulations <br /> The applicant has indicated the project will conform to existing stormwater management (Section 6.14) and <br /> erosion and sedimentation control (Section 6.15) regulations of the UDO. <br /> Land Use Buffers/Setbacks <br /> North 30' from front, 15' from side and rear Setback <br /> South 30' from front, 15' from side and rear Setback <br /> East 30' from front, 15' from side and rear Setback <br /> West 30' from front, 15' from side and rear Setback, 30' Type B Buffer <br /> Reduced setbacks are permitted as part of the Flexible Development Option. <br /> Environmental Assessment (EA) <br /> An Environmental Assessment is not required. <br /> Solid Waste <br /> The applicant has indicated development within the project will conform to the Orange County Solid Waste <br /> Management Ordinance. <br /> 6 <br />
