7 <br /> Housing Department <br /> 17.The Housing Department has deferred revenue through the HUD Emergency Housing <br /> Voucher Grant. The department received $63,896 in voucher and administrative funds in <br /> FY 2023-24 that will be utilized in FY 2024-25. These funds will be authorized in the <br /> Housing Choice Voucher Fund, outside of the General Fund. <br /> 18. In FY 2023-2024, the Housing Department received the Rapid Rehousing — State Fiscal <br /> Relief Fund Grant. The County recognized receipt of$79,077 in grant funds. The State has <br /> revised the County's share of the relief funds and has increased the grant to $85,200. This <br /> increases the authorization in the Community Development Fund, outside of the General <br /> Fund, by $6,123. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: <br /> • GOAL 3: HOUSING FOR ALL <br /> OBJECTIVE 1. Allocate predictable funding sources to contribute or support <br /> adding to affordable housing stock. <br /> OBJECTIVE 7. Expand resources and invest in housing designed for our aging <br /> and disabled residents. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: Financial impacts are included in the background information above. This <br /> budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds in FY 2024-25 and increases <br /> the authorization in General Fund by $176,991, the Multi-Year Grant Fund by $60,796, the <br /> Emergency Telephone Fund by $1,035,553, the Housing Choice Voucher Fund by $63,896, the <br /> Community Development Fund by $6,123, the Visitors Bureau Fund by $200, and the DSS Client <br /> Fund by $114,998. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve the budget, grant, and <br /> capital project ordinance amendments for Fiscal Year 2024-25. <br />
