3 <br /> These funds are used to offer patients free HPV vaccine. As of June 30, 2024, there <br /> was $2,000 remaining unspent in the General Fund for this purpose. This budget <br /> amendment provides for the receipt of the $2,000 for use in FY 2024-25. <br /> The Health Department has received the following additional grant revenue: <br /> • CCNC Capacity Building — The Health Department has received $20,507 from <br /> Community Care of North Carolina (CCNC) that will be used to contract <br /> administrative and clinical assistance in the medical clinic to improve the health and <br /> quality of life by building and supporting better community-based health care <br /> delivery systems. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: <br /> • GOAL 2: HEALTHY COMMUNITY <br /> OBJECTIVE 2. Expand access to quality, affordable healthcare services. <br /> OBJECTIVE 7. Invest in services and programs that improve the health and quality <br /> of life of the community. <br /> Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation <br /> 6. The Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation (DEAPR) holds funds <br /> of the Soil and Water Conservation District Board. Grant funds are used for special <br /> projects, programs, operational expenses and other needs that are approved by the Soil <br /> and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors. As of June 30, 2024, the department <br /> had $6,895 in unspent funds remaining and will receive an additional $3,600 this fiscal <br /> year. This budget amendment appropriates $10,495 in the Multi-Year Grant Fund and <br /> increases the General Fund budget by $3,295. This creates the following DEAPR Grant <br /> Project Ordinance in the Multi-Year Grants Fund, outside of the General Fund: <br /> Soil & Water Grant($10,495) - Project#71362 <br /> Revenues for this project: <br /> Current FY 2024-25 FY 2024-25 <br /> FY 2024-25 Amendment Revised <br /> Transfer from General Fund $0 $6,895 $6,895 <br /> Grant Revenue $0 $3,600 $3,600 <br /> Total Project Funding $0 $10,495 $10,495 <br /> Appropriated for this project: <br /> Current FY 2024-25 FY 2024-25 <br /> FY 2024-25 Amendment Revised <br /> Project Expenditures $0 $10,495 $10,495 <br /> Total Costs $0 $10,495 $10,495 <br /> 7. The Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation (DEAPR) was <br /> awarded funding of $59,296 from the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer <br /> Services, Division of Soil & Water for the StreamFlow Rehabilitation Assistance Program <br /> (StRAP) grant for the period of July 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026. These funds will be <br /> used to protect and restore the integrity of drainage infrastructure through routine <br /> maintenance to existing streams and drainage ways.
