Animal Services Manager <br />• Duties Include: <br />o Manage overall customer relations activities <br />o Develop marketing plan <br />o Greet and ensure sign-in of all guests and customers <br />o Maintenance of Lost and Pound reports and calls to owners <br />o Sign-in of community service workers, their daily activity, and hours worked <br />o Participate in public education of disease management <br />o Oversee volunteer program, train volunteers and schedule <br />o Oversee adoption program, conduct adoption counseling and training <br />o Plan and implement customer and community outreach programs <br />o Coordinate special events <br />o Respond directly to customer inquires and complaints <br />o Manage front desk operation and train statf in customer-friendly protocols <br />o Encourage community involvement through partnership programs with schools, <br />civic groups, local businesses and animal welfare organizations <br />o Plan and implement student education programs <br />o Worlc with anima]-related organizations to maintain updated information for <br />Shelter customers <br />o Plan and implement Open Houses at the Shelter to encourage volunteerism and <br />adoptions <br />o Assists in other duties as assigned <br />® Skills and Experience Requirements: <br />o Degree in public relations, communications or marketing <br />o Experience in comnumity relations or customer service <br />
