Zoning Atlas Amendment Ordinance to reflect the zoning change on the County's adopted <br /> Zoning Atlas, as contained in Attachment 7. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: This request has been reviewed by various County departments who have <br /> determined that the approval of the request would not create the need for additional funding for <br /> the provision of County services. Costs associated with advertising, including the public hearing <br /> notice and mailings, are covered by the application fee. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: <br /> • GOAL 1. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND CLIMATE ACTION <br /> OBJECTIVE 6. Protect water supply/watersheds. <br /> OBJECTIVE 7. Conserve and protect high priority open space, including Natural Heritage <br /> sites, nature preserves, watershed riparian buffers, and prime/threatened farmland. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board: <br /> 1. Conduct the public hearing and receive the Planning Board and staff recommendations <br /> and public comments; <br /> 2. Close the public hearing; and <br /> 3. Vote to Approve the Statement of Consistency (Attachment 6) and Zoning Atlas <br /> Amendment (Attachment 7); <br /> OR <br /> 4. Vote to Deny the Zoning Atlas Amendment, including a statement as to why the application <br /> is not reasonable and/or not in the public interest. <br />
