145 <br /> Zoning R1, Rural Residential <br /> Watershed Upper Eno Critical <br /> Overlay Major Transportation Corridor <br /> Future Land Use Agricultural Residential and Rural Residential <br /> Classification <br /> Based on staff review and coordination with the NC Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land <br /> Resources (NC DEMLR) Water Supply Watershed Protection Coordinator, the sealed <br /> professional survey represents the most recent and accurate data and should be <br /> recognized as the true ridgeline and watershed boundary on the parcels. Staff has <br /> notified NC DEMLR and the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission <br /> (EMC) of the change. The change was reviewed and approved by the state on July 29, <br /> 2024. <br /> Critical and Protected Watersheds within Orange County are part of the County's <br /> delegated Stormwater Management Program, as reflected in the adopted Orange County <br /> Watershed Boundary Map. These watersheds are also adopted Zoning Overlay Districts <br /> in the Unified Development Ordinance. This Planning Director-initiated Zoning Atlas <br /> Amendment will bring this overlay district into alignment with the State-recognized <br /> watershed. No amendments are proposed to the base zoning district, Major <br /> Transportation Corridor overlay district, or Future Land Use Map. <br />
