Attachment A - Pharmacy Contract July 1, 2024– June 30, 2025 <br /> <br />Revised July 2024 1 <br /> <br />PHARMACY SERVICES <br />Scope of Work <br /> <br />Scope of Services for the Agreement between Robert E. Dupuis and Orange County by and <br />through the Orange County Health Department for Pharmacy Services effective, July 1, 2024 and <br />shall terminate on June 30, 2025. It is understood that the Contractor will provide direct <br />pharmacy services at the two pharmacy sites of the Health Department. <br /> <br />The Contractor to provide the following Services: <br />. <br />A. Administrative Duties <br />1. Assist in the development of written policies and procedur es for legal, safe and effective <br />drug therapy, distribution, control and use. <br />2. Assist with annual review and revision of Pharmacy Protocol Manual. <br />3. Annually sign Pharmacy Protocol Manual. <br />4. Work with Clinical Supervisors to do the following: <br />a) Develop and maintain formulary for both pharmacy sites in the pharmacy <br />management system. <br />b) Maintain package threshold. <br />c) Update pharmacy management system when pull expired drugs from shelf. <br />d) Update pharmacy management system when add drugs to inventory. <br />e) Evaluate and improve procedures for drug procurement, storage, packaging and <br />labeling. <br />5. Work with staff person on NC Med Assist Program when needed. <br />6. Oversee all activities related to pharmacy operation at Whitted Human Services Center <br />and Southern Human Services Center clinic locations. <br />7. At the end of each fiscal year, prepare and submit an annual report to the Personal <br />Health Services Director summarizing pharmacy activities and accomplishments for the <br />current year and goals/plans for the next year. <br />8. Assist Clinical Supervisors to acquire pharmaceuticals in a cost-efficient manner. <br />9. Evaluate and improve therapeutics at both OCHD pharmacy locations. <br />10. Provide pharmacy training for new public health nurses and advanced practice providers <br />upon hire. <br />11. Assist in evaluation and selection of existing and potential new pharmacy management <br />systems. <br />12.
