Clarifica&ons <br />1. See Aachment entled “ConstruconContractOver250k-Construcon-Final01-24 (2)LD”. <br />This contract includes a spulaon for Liquidated d amages (see page 4). This contract will <br />supersede the contract in Addenda #1. Per the Orange County Aorney Liquidated damages <br />for this contract shall be in the amount of $500.00 per day. <br />B. Ques&ons <br />1. Is there a provision to waste any excess soil on site? Answer- No there is not an area to <br />waste excess soil on site. <br />2. Do you have a Land Disturbance Permit? Answer- No, per the Orange County Unified <br />Development Ordinance recreaonal projects with lan d disturbance under 21,780 sq. =. are <br />exempt. On the approved Cover Sheet please note this project has a land disturbance area <br />of 21,458.58 sq., the State of NC does not require Erosion Control Permits for public money <br />projects under 1 acre of grading. <br />3. Who pays for soil compacon and concrete tesng for the project? Answer- Orange County <br />will pay for both soil compacon and concrete tesn g with a private tesng company. The <br />contractor will be responsible for quality control over the products he uses. <br />4. Will a Building Permit be required for the Picnic Shelter? Answer yes, the General Contrator <br />will need to obtain and pay for an Orange County Building Permit. <br /> <br />C.
