Fleet Service Department Tow: A tow of a vehicle owned, leased, operated or serviced by Orange <br />County Fleet Service; this includes the towing of fuel powered, Electric Vehicles (EV) and County Sheriff <br />vehicles. <br />2. Evidence Tow: A tow of a vehicle in the custody of Orange County Sheriff’s Department, which must <br />be held in secure storage as required by the Orange County Sheriff or designee. <br />3. Hazard Tow: A tow of any vehicle impounded for a violation of law or ordinance, including nuisance <br />vehicles, hazardous vehicles, abandoned vehicles on public or private property, or under a court order. <br />4. Non-Preference Tow: A tow ordered by the County of a non-county vehicle under such circumstances <br />that the county has lawful authority to order the towing of the vehicle and the owner or person in <br />possession cannot or will not select a tow company. <br />5.
