Orange County West Campus Office Building -HVAC <br />PDC Project 23020 Enclosed Switches and Circuit Breakers 26 28 16.16 - 5 <br />H.Provide fuses complying with Section 26 28 13 for fusible switches as indicated or as required by <br />equipment manufacturer's recommendations. <br />I.Set field-adjustable circuit breaker tripping function settings as directed. <br />J.Where accessories are not self-powered,provide control power source as indicated or as required <br />to complete installation. <br />K.Identify enclosed switches and breakers in accordance with Section 26 05 53. <br />3.03 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL <br />A.Perform inspections and tests listed in NETA ATS,Section 7.5.1.1 for breakers larger than 600A. <br />1.Verify equipment nameplate is in accorance with contract documents. <br />2.Inspect physical and mechanical condition. <br />3.Inspect anchorage and anlignment. <br />4.Verify unit is clean. <br />5.Operate breaker to enusre smooth operation. <br />6.Perform breaker adjustments in accorance with the power system study. <br />7.Perform resistance measurements through bolted connectionswith a low-resistance <br />ohmmeter. <br />8.Perform insulation-resistance test for one minute on each pole,phase-to-phase and phase- <br />to-ground with circuit breaker closed. <br />9.Perform contact/pole resistance test. <br />10.Determine long-time and short time pickup and delay settings by primary current injection. <br />11.Determine ground fault pickup and time delay by primary current injection. <br />B.Correct deficiencies and replace damaged or defective enclosed safety switches or associated <br />components. <br />3.04 ADJUSTING <br />A.Adjust tightness of mechanical and electrical connections to manufacturer's recommended torque <br />settings. <br />3.05 CLEANING <br />A.Clean dirt and debris from switch enclosures and components according to manufacturer's <br />instructions. <br />B.Repair scratched or marred exterior surfaces to match original factory finish. <br />END OF SECTION 26 28 16.16 <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 8DED1454-68D2-4E36-9FC6-E56FF2124E5D
