Orange County West Campus Office Building -HVAC <br />PDC Project 23020 General Commissioning Requirements 01 91 13 - 3 <br />Owner. <br />D.Dataloggers: Independent equipment and software for monitoring flows,currents,status, <br />pressures,etc.of equipment. <br />1.Dataloggers required to for Functional Tests will be provided by the Commissioning Authority <br />and will not become the property of Owner. <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.01 COMMISSIONING PLAN <br />A.Commissioning Authority will prepare the Commissioning Plan. <br />1.Attend meetings called by the Commissioning Authority for purposes of completing the <br />commissioning plan. <br />2.Require attendance and participation of relevant subcontractors,installers,suppliers,and <br />manufacturer representatives. <br />B.Contractor is responsible for compliance with the Commissioning Plan. <br />C.Commissioning Plan: The commissioning schedule,procedures,and coordination requirements <br />for all parties in the commissioning process. <br />D.Commissioning Schedule: <br />1.Submit anticipated dates of startup of each item of equipment and system to Commissioning <br />Authority within 20 days after award of Contract. <br />2.Re-submit anticipated startup dates whenever revised,but not less than 4 weeks prior to <br />startup. <br />3.Prefunctional Checklists and Functional Tests are to be performed in sequence from <br />components,to subsystems,to systems. <br />4.Provide sufficient notice to Commissioning Authority for delivery of relevant Checklists and <br />Functional Test procedures,to avoid delay. <br />3.02 DOCUMENTATION IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM <br />A.Give each submitted form or report a unique identification;use the following scheme. <br />B.Type of Document: Use the following prefixes: <br />1.Startup Plan: SP-. <br />2.Startup Report: SR-. <br />3.Prefunctional Checklist: PC-. <br />4.Functional Test Procedure: FTP-. <br />5.Functional Test Report: FTR-. <br />C.System Type: Use the first 4 digits from CSI/CSC MF (Master Format),that are applicable to the <br />system;for example: <br />1.2300:HVAC system as a whole. <br />2.2320: HVAC Piping and Pumps. <br />3.2330: HVAC Air Distribution. <br />D.Component Number: Assign numbers sequentially,using 1,2,or 3 digits as required to <br />accommodate the number of units in the system. <br />E.Test,Revision,or Submittal Number: Number each successive iteration sequentially,starting with <br />1. <br />F.Example: PC-2320-001.2 would be the Prefunctional Checklist for equipment item 1 in the HVAC <br />piping system,probably a pump;this is the second,revised submittal of this checklist. <br />3.03 STARTUP PLANS AND REPORTS <br />A.Startup Plans: For each item of equipment and system for which the manufacturer provides a <br />startup plan,submit the plan not less than 3 weeks prior to startup. <br />B.Submit directly to the Commissioning Authority. <br />3.04 PREFUNCTIONAL CHECKLISTS <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 8DED1454-68D2-4E36-9FC6-E56FF2124E5D
