On May 6 , 2024 , Alliance Healthcare was notified that the NC DHHS ( DMH / DD/SUS ) was awarding funds to Alliance to support the Orange County Mobile Crisis Team Pilot as follows : FY 2023 -24 : Start- up costs of $ 142 , 000 , and $ 87 , 500 in start- up operational staffing costs for a total of $ 229 , 500 in non - Unit Cost Reimbursement ( UCR) funding . • Non - UCR funding will allow time to determine the level of potentially billable service , and ensure service delivery can work within the confines of Care Team criteria as designated by the Chapel Hill Police Department and 911 Call Center , as well as eligibility levels of service recipients . FY 2024 -25 : $ 350 , 000 annual operating costs . UCR vs . Non - UCR to be determined .
