67 <br /> Orange County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council Special Meeting <br /> Friday, May 3, 2024 (1:OOpm --1:30pm) <br /> Virtual Zoom Meeting <br /> Proposed Minutes <br /> Attendees: Sharron Hinton, Phyllis Portie-Ascott, Kysha Thompson, Dana Crews, Bernard Miles, <br /> Crista Collazo, Kassi Dadufalza, Nicole Hunter, Caraina Edwards (*Members in bold) <br /> Welcome <br /> The meeting opened with a welcome from Chair, Sharron Hinton. <br /> JCPC Business <br /> This special meeting was called to vote on the funding committee's proposal regarding funding for the <br /> upcoming fiscal year. Discussion about the Funding Committee's proposal was had at the JCPC meeting <br /> on April 26"', but because there was no quorum, the board was unable to vote. <br /> Vote: <br /> Bernard Miles made a motion for Volunteers for Youth's Community Service and Restitution program to <br /> be funded at $99,134 and was seconded by Crista Collazo. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Bernard Miles made a motion for Dispute Settlement Center to be funded at$69,030 and was seconded <br /> by Kysha Thompson. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Kysha Thompson made a motion for Exchange Club's Family Center Parent Teen Solutions program to <br /> be funded at$66,999 and was seconded by Bernard Miles. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Dana Crews made a motion for Volunteers for Youth's Teen Court program to be funded at $81,462 and <br /> was seconded by Kysha Thompson. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Bernard Miles made a motion for Reintegration Support Network to be funded at $67,600 and was <br /> seconded by Crista Collazo. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Kysha Thompson made a motion for Wrenn House to be funded at $21,800 and was seconded by Crista <br /> Collazo. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Bernard Miles made a motion for Exchange Club's Family Center Adolescent Substance Abuse <br /> Treatment program to be funded at $54,300 and was seconded by Crista Collazo. Motion carried <br /> unanimously, <br /> Kysha Thompson made a motion for JCPC Admin to be funded at $6,500 and was seconded by Dana <br /> Crews. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
