64 <br /> Q: Do you have any ESL families? Would you be able to serve them? <br /> A: Do not have any that are enrolled or on the waiting list. Yes, they contract with a translator to make <br /> sure the families can be served. <br /> Reintegration Support Network—They had 1 referral and admitted one participant in February. They <br /> successfully closed out one participant in February. They had 1 referral in March and served a total of 8 <br /> youth. During the month of April, 2 youth were going through the screening stages. They are looking to <br /> recruit youth to serve on an advisory committee and looking to conduct listening sessions to get more <br /> feedback from participants and stakeholders. They updated their resource guide for both mentors and <br /> stakeholders and created a portal with additional resources for youth and families, all available on their <br /> website. They continue to face challenges with lack of participants and family engagement. They are <br /> looking to add a family resilience model into their overall programming. <br /> Volunteers for Youth —They had to get rid of one of their pieces of equipment because it was no longer <br /> operable. It was wiped clean and disposed of It was recommended by the consultant to return any <br /> purchased equipment back to JCPC. For Community Service, in February they had 3 referrals, 2 <br /> admissions (both males), and ended the month with 16 active youth, In March they received 4 referrals, <br /> had 4 admissions, 4 successful completions, and 2 terminations. They ended the month with 14 active <br /> youth. For Teen Court, they had 3 referrals, 4 admissions, 2 successful completions, and a total of 7 <br /> active for February. There was no new admission in March so the total active remained at 7. <br /> Wrenn House There were no admissions from Orange County in March, but they did receive I referral. <br /> Year to date, they have served 7 youth from Orange County with the target being 10. <br /> JJ Data Update <br /> February— 15 juveniles at intake (7 were RTA); 20 delinquent complaints; I undisciplined complaints; 5 <br /> school-based complaints; 9 complaint approved for court; 8 complaints diverted; 4 complaints closed; 4 <br /> juveniles placed in detention for 93 days; and 0 YDC admissions. <br /> January— 15 juveniles at intake (6 were RTA); 80 delinquent complaints; 1 undisciplined complaints; 5 <br /> school-based complaints; 47 complaints approved for court; I complaints diverted; 2 complaint closed; 5 <br /> juvenile placed in detention for 106 days; and I YDC admissions. <br /> JCPC Business <br /> Funding Committee —The Funding Committee met on April 19, 2024 to hear presentations from agencies <br /> who have applied for FY 24-25 JCPC funding recommendations that will now be presented to the Council <br /> for a discussion. Since we do not have a quorum, a special meeting will be called to vote on the funding <br /> recommendations. <br /> JCPC Admin is being recommended for funding in the amount of$5,000, <br /> Dispute Settlement Center is being recommended for funding in the amount of$53,100. <br /> Exchange Club's Family Center (Parent Teen Solutions) is being recommended for funding in the amount <br /> of$51,538. <br /> Exchange Club's Family Center(Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment) is being recommended for <br /> funding in the amount of$41,769. <br /> Reintegration Support Network is being recommended for funding in the amount of$52,000. <br /> Volunteers for Youth(Community Service/Restitution) is being recommended for funding in the amount <br /> of$76,257. <br />
