She said that the market has not really met the plan and now the review is more <br /> 11 about questioning if the nodes are still in an appropriate location. <br /> 12 Tom Altieri said there are 5 of these nodes in the county. He said there are four in the <br /> 13 northern portion and one in White Cross. He said that they area a half-mile radius around historic <br /> 14 areas in the community with access to transportation. <br /> 15 Commissioner Portie-Ascott asked what would replace them if they are eliminated. <br /> 16 Leigh Anne King said usually they revert to whatever is currently surrounding the node. <br /> 17 Cy Stober said it would likely rural and agricultural residential. He said that there are also <br /> 18 rural neighborhood activity nodes. <br /> 19 Tom Altieri said there are about 10 of them. <br /> 20 Cy Stober said that in these scenarios, they are pressing hard on levers to show different <br /> 21 scenarios. He said that they will likely end up somewhere in between but this is a demonstration <br /> 22 to prove a point. He said they are focused primarily on housing and jobs density and locations <br /> 23 they would be fated to be over the next 20 years. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Slide #36 <br /> PROM.W. -.M.
