Our 575+ employees <br /> offer highly specialized experience in dam and levee engineering, geotechnical engineering, <br /> geostructural design, tunnel and underground engineering, environmental and geophysical <br /> services, construction monitoring, laboratory and field QA/QC, and resident engineering services. <br /> Schnabel has more than 235 professionals dedicated to the inspection, evaluation, monitoring, <br /> permitting, design, and construction of dams. Since 1994, we have provided engineering <br /> assessment, design, and construction support services for more than 5,000 dams. From concept <br /> through construction, all key disciplines are represented, including hydrologic and hydraulic <br /> engineering, geotechnical and civil engineering, hydro-mechanical design, structural analysis <br /> and design, bidding and procurement, licensing, permitting assistance, and construction phase <br /> services. In addition to our extensive nationwide dam design experience, knowledge of the current <br /> state dam safety regulations and strong relationships with the state dam safety regulators are <br /> crucial to a successful project, especially those projects that have a short turnaround.
