The Board agreed to <br /> 25 appoint Judson Williamson as chair. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 7. Durham Technical Community College Board of Trustees —Appointment Discussion <br /> 28 The Board discussed an appointment to the Durham Technical Community College Board of <br /> 29 Trustees. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 BACKGROUND: Durham Technical Community College is governed by a Board of Trustees. <br /> 32 Four members of the Board are appointed by the governor, four are appointed by the Durham <br /> 33 County Board of Commissioners, four are appointed by the Durham Public Schools Board of <br /> 34 Education, and two are appointed by the Orange County Board of Commissioners. Trustees serve <br /> 35 four-year terms and set local policy for the College. <br />
