CHW position will work closely with efforts supported by the Lantern Project run <br /> through the CJRD . <br /> The NC FIT Program will continue to provide regular support and technical assistance to <br /> Orange County supporting the Orange County FIT Program, Jail-based MAT at the <br /> Detention center, collaboration with the CJRD and linkages to Piedmont Health Services . <br /> g . Provider : NC FIT <br /> 4 . Fourth strategy authorized <br /> a . Name of strategy : Recovery Support Services <br /> b . Strategy is included in Exhibit Exhibit A (Exhibit A, Exhibit B ) <br /> c . Item letter and/or number in Exhibit A or Exhibit B to the MOA : Exhibit A <br /> Strategy 3 <br /> d . Amounted authorized for this strategy : $ $ 20 , 000 . 00 <br /> e . Period of time during which expenditure may take place : <br /> Start date January 1 , 2024 through End date June 30 , 2024 <br /> f. Description of the program, project, or activity : <br /> Reintegration Support Network (RSN) will increase the number of specially trained <br /> mentors ( Certified Peer Support Specialist and/or Recovery Coach Academy <br /> Certified) providing evidence -informed support to youth experiencing challenges <br /> related to substance use , mental health, and justice -involvement . <br /> RSN will adapt an evidenced-based, adult peer- support model to meet the unique <br /> needs of youth in Orange , Durham, Chatham, and Alamance Counties . RSN uses <br /> specially trained mentors (NC certified peer support specialists , or Recovery Coach <br /> Academy trained) to interrupt the daily systemic and structural pressures that create <br /> gaps in opportunities for youth (ages 13 -20) especially those with challenges related <br /> to mental health, substance use , and/or juvenile justice involvement . Funds will <br /> support some of the operating expenses and contractual needs . <br /> g . Provider : Reintegration Support Network <br /> 5 . Fifth strategy authorized <br /> a . Name of strategy : JPost - Overdose Response Team <br /> b . Strategy is included in Exhibit Exhibit A (Exhibit A, Exhibit B ) <br /> c . Item letter and/or number in Exhibit A or Exhibit B to the MOA : Strategy 8 <br /> d . Amounted authorized for this strategy : $ 244 , 020 . 00 <br /> e . Period of time during which expenditure may take place : <br /> Start date _January 1 , 2024 through End date _December 31 , 2025 <br /> f. Description of the program, project, or activity : <br /> Development and implementation of a PORT within the geographic constraints of <br /> ill support staff salary , supplies and needed software . <br /> Orange County , NC ; funds w <br /> PORTs are specialized teams that respond to opioid overdoses in real time or within <br /> 24 - 72 hours of the overdose event . Upon implementation, the OC -EMS PORT will <br /> meet individuals where they are at in their addiction by providing harm reduction <br />
