When <br /> asked how to reduce recidivism, my answer has also been equal education for every child in <br /> this country . It's a big dream that I believe is worth fighting for. <br /> Additionally, when living in California, I volunteered for an adult literacy program and was deeply <br /> disturbed by how many members of our society weren t given adequate access to quality <br /> education. <br /> Please explain your reasons for wanting to serve on this board <br /> As a social worker, I hold dear the idea that I can be a voice for those with less agency and I <br /> would like to advocate for what I believe is best for our children. <br /> How would your particpation on this board contribute to the diversity of viewpoints? <br /> Being a woman in a patriarchal society, I understand how our society works to silence many <br /> groups including women.
